FORT COLLINS, Colo.  –
Colorado State men's basketball returns home after a dramatic overtime win over UNLV on Saturday looking to keep the momentum going Wednesday night. CSU hosts San Diego State for the annual White Out game at 8:30 pm. The game will air on FS1 and over the airwaves on K99.1.

Opening Tip
- Colorado State won a thriller in Las Vegas on Saturday 82-81 in overtime. It was the program's first win at UNLV since 2017.
- Saturday's game was CSU's first time playing in back-to-back overtime games since the 2003-04 season. They played in three straight that year winning all three against San Diego State, UNLV and Wyoming.
- The Rams overcame deficits of four with eight seconds left in the game and 21 seconds left in overtime thanks to Isaiah Stevens sinking a total of four 3s to help earn the win.
- Stevens finished the night with 33 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, two steals and a block. He made a career-high eight 3s in the win and forced the game-sealing turnover.
- With his 33 points on Saturday, he is now in the program's top 5 for scoring with 1,535.
- Stevens is closing in on the program's assists record with 518, 12 away from matching Ryan Yoder's mark of 530.
- Jalen Lake matched his career-high scoring with 13 points, sinking a trio of 3s. He also dished out five assists.
- CSU won the rebounding battle (39-38) for the first time on Saturday since December 11, 2022, against Peru State.
- Patrick Cartier is 10th in the nation shooting 65.6% from the field. The mark leads the Mountain West.
- San Diego State suffered its first conference loss on Saturday falling 76-67 against New Mexico at home. The loss snapped a six-game win streak.
- CSU and SDSU met three times last year with the Aztecs coming away with a 2-1 advantage. The Rams did win on their home court 58-57.

Scouting the Aztecs
San Diego State makes its way to Fort Collins after suffering its first conference loss of the season Saturday. SDSU dropped a home contest to New Mexico 76-67.

Once again in 2022-23, SDSU is known for its stout defense ranking 25th on KenPom for defensive efficiency. A key to their defensive success is forcing turnovers averaging 15.29 per game. Of those 15.29, 8.5 come via steals.

Preseason Mountain West Player of the Year Matt Bradley leads the San Diego State offense averaging 13.5 points and 4.4 rebounds a game. Teammate Darrion Trammell is the only other Aztec to average double figures scoring 11.9 points, but a total of eight players are averaging more than 6.0 ppg.

Colorado State heads north for the Border War on Saturday. The Rams and Cowboys are set for a 2:00 pm tip on FS1.
