LUBBOCK, Texas – Colorado State earned four nods for the All-Region team at the NCAA Mountain Regional on Friday morning hosted by Texas Tech. The women finished sixth out of 20 teams, including five ranked teams, while the men crossed seventh out of 17 program – five ranked.

Sarah Carter paced the women's side, placing in eighth place with a career mark of 19:45.9. Quinn McConnell and Kensey May followed and made the Top-25 and All-Region finishing 22nd and 24th, respectfully, while both setting career times.

Lars Mitchell was the lone All-Region honoree on the men's side, finishing the 10k race in 25th with a career-best time of 29:44.8. Teammate Sam Griffith just missed honors finishing in 27th and at 29:54.2.

The Regional race was the first 10k for the majority of the men's side, with five setting career marks.

Colorado State will wait for their NCAA Championship fate until Saturday, when the NCAA Selection Show airs at 3 p.m., MT. The Rams will look to be one of the 13 at-large teams on each side.
