Colorado State to recognize team’s graduating seniors in final home match Saturday

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State volleyball team will face off against the New Mexico Lobos Thursday night in its annual State Pride game before hosting the Air Force Falcons Saturday night for senior night and the team's annual Green Out.

What You Need to Know
- The Rams continue to sit tied for second in the Mountain West with New Mexico as the Mountain West Championship Tournament is set to take place next week in Las Vegas on November 22-24. With a tight race for seeding and qualification for the tournament, the final bracket will be announced Sunday.
- After a three-game road stand, Colorado State will host two more home games to finish out the regular season. Both opponents are likely to be qualifiers for the Mountain West Tournament as well.
- The Rams will be celebrating five senior athletes and one senior student manager Saturday night against the Air Force Falcons. Join the Rams early at 5:45 to recognize seniors Annie Sullivan, Anna Porter, Alyssa Groves, Ruby Kayser, Barrett Power and manager Maia Reed. Play against the Falcons will start at 6 p.m. following the Colorado State football game at Canvas Stadium set to begin at 1 p.m.
Scouting The Lobos and the Falcons
- The Lobos are tied with the Rams in the second position with a 10-6 record during conference play. As a team, New Mexico ranks first in blocks and digs with a total of 164 blocks and 932 digs.
- Outside hitter Kaitlynn Biassou resides in fourth in kills and blocks among the Mountain West. Biassou currently has 220 kills on the conference season and averages 3.55 kills per set. She is also responsible for picking up 254.0 of the Lobos' total points and averages 4.10 points per set.
- New Mexico's middle blockers Elizabeth Woods and Athina Dimitriadis sit at third and sixth in the conference for total blocks. Woods has picked up 72 total and Dimitriadis has 68 of her own.
- Air Force's outside hitter Annamaria Ramos was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week for helping the Falcons sweep Nevada and Fresno State last week. She had 19 kills throughout the week and hit at .326 hitting efficiency while averaging 3.17 kills per set.
- Middle blocker Joi Harvey maintains her position at number two in the conference in hitting percentage. Harvey has 196 kills on the season and has a hitting efficiency of .423.
- Setter Caroline Reinkensmeyer ranks second in the conference in assists just under Colorado State's Emery Herman. Reinkensmeyer has a total of 606 assists and averages 10.10 per set.

Match Notes
- The Rams were on the road last week for two matches. The team lost to UNLV in Las Vegas Thursday night in five tight sets, falling in the fifth in extra points, 17-19. The Rams then went on to sweep San Diego State Saturday afternoon.
- Colorado State had a total of 100 kills throughout the week, 61 of them against UNLV and 39 of them against San Diego State. Redshirt junior Malaya Jones made a huge impact with 31 kills of her own, along with one ace and five blocks.
- Graduating senior Annie Sullivan led the team in kills last week with 18. Senior Naeemah Weathers and Karina Leber also had standout numbers when it came to kills. Weathers had 17 and Leber with 16 total. Â Â
- Senior Emery Herman stays put at number one in the conference with assists. Herman had 44 assists against UNLV and 31 against San Diego State giving her 75 over the week. With those 75 assists, Herman now has a total of 676 on the conference season where she averages 10.56 assists per set.
- Senior Kennedy Stanford tallied five kills Thursday night against UNLV to reach a total of 1,000 career kills. Stanford has since added five more kills from the Rams' match versus the Aztecs.
