RAM NOTES
Head Coach Ryun Williams will begin his 12th season at the helm after a 20-12 overall mark a season ago and a postseason appearance. The Rams advanced to the Mountain West Semifinals before suffering a defeat to Wyoming. Following the tournament, CSU returned to the postseason, appearing in the WNIT against UNI.

CSU was selected to finished No. 2 in the Mountain West preseason poll, just behind UNLV by 39 votes. Colorado State posted a 12-6 mark in league play a season ago, finishing third in the conference standings.

Colorado State returns 11 players from the 2022-23 roster, including four starters. The Rams also returned McKenna Hofschild who has been receiving recognition in the preseason. The guard was named to the All-Mountain West Preseason Team as well as named the Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year after being named to the regular season award a year ago. The graduate has also landed on the Nancy Lieberman Award Preseason Watch List as well as the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch List. Hofschild led the Rams and the Mountain West in assists and scoring 2022-23, and finished No. 2 in the country in assists/turnover ratio.

Fans will notice a few new faces on Monday night, one being Jackie Carman, a grad transfer from Wofford and who was also tabbed the Mountain West Preseason Newcomer of the Year. The Rams welcome four new players to the 2023-24 roster – one freshman and three transfers. Other transfers include Ann Zachariah, a sophomore from Howard College and Sanna Strom, a junior from Kansas.
