Colorado State to honor Isaiah Stevens as program’s all-time scoring leader pregame
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State men's basketball returns home to close out the calendar year and their non-conference schedule against Adams State on Friday at 7 pm.

Opening Tip
- Colorado State took care of business on the road defeating LMU 76-67 just before the holiday break.
- CSU is in a stretch where they only play three games in 21 days.
- The Rams continue to be ranked in the polls checking in at No. 15 for the AP and No. 14 for the Coaches Poll. It is a program record fifth straight week ranked.Â
- Head coach Niko Medved is in his sixth year leading Colorado State. He is 103-65 as the Rams' head coach. The win on December 2 against Washington was the 100th for him leading the Green & Gold. Medved is now one of five coaches in the program's history to reach the 100 wins mark.
- With his next win, Medved will move into alone in fourth place for most wins at CSU breaking a tie with Dale Layer (2001-07).
- Isaiah Stevens returns for his final year of eligibility and the nation is taking notice of the guard. Stevens was named the Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year, Wooden Top 50 Preseason List and one of 20 players named to the Bob Cousy Preseason Watch List.
- He sits in the top 5 for active players in both scoring (3rd) and assists (2nd).
- Stevens has three double-doubles on the year and already reset one of his own records when he posted 14 assists against Wright State. He is averaging 17.7 points, 7.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 52.0% from the field and 42.2% behind the arc.
- He became the program's all-time leading scorer against LMU when he passed Pat Durham (1985-89) and his 1,980 points. Stevens also surpassed 700 assists mark in his career and broke made field goals record also held by Durham.
- Newcomer Joel Scott continues to be a big presence inside for CSU averaging 12.4 points and 6.2 rebounds.
- Nique Clifford has enjoyed his time in Fort Collins transferring to Colorado State from Colorado. He is shooting an impressive 59.6% from the field including 53.1% from behind the arc on his way to averaging 13.3 points and 6.3 rebounds.
- Clifford scored a career-best 23 points in the win at LMU going 9-for-10 from the field.
- Patrick Cartier missed two games for Colorado State, but since returning has not missed a beat. He is averaging 12.8 points on 61.1% shooting.
- Colorado State leads the Mountain West in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.02), assists per game (20.2), effective field goal percentage (59.6%), fastbreak points (15.75), field goal percentage (52.3%) and free throw percentage (77.7%).
- A win on Friday night would be the 600th in program history inside Moby Arena.
- Friday's game marks the final of the non-conference season for the Rams.
- The game will count as an exhibition for Adams State, which competes in Division II.
