- Isaiah Stevens took over as the second-leading scorer in program history. He passed Bill Green (1960-63) and his 1,682 points. Stevens now sits at 1,699 for his career.
- Stevens leads the Mountain West in assists (6.4) and assists-to-turnover ratio (3.07) to rank fifth and seventh in the nation, respectively. He is also 53rd in the nation and second in the conference for scoring with 18.5 points per game.
- John Tonje led all Rams with 18 points on Tuesday.
- Tonje and Stevens have combined for 179 points in the past five games. That accounts for 52.0% of the team's scoring in that time frame.
- Freshman Taviontae Jackson followed up his career-high eight rebounds on Saturday with another seven Tuesday to lead the Rams.

- Wyoming comes to Fort Collins after falling to Utah State at home Tuesday by 10.
- The Cowboys won round one of the Border War 58-57 in Laramie earlier this season.
- A win on Friday night would be the 100th by the Rams in the series.

Scouting the Cowboys
It has not been the season many expected in Laramie. The Cowboys lost Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year Graham Ike to a foot injury before the season started and later on dismissed a trio of transfers leaving head coach Jeff Linder with just seven scholarship players available.

Hunter Maldonado is the straw that stirs the Cowboy's offense averaging a team-leading 14.6 points and 3.8 assists per game.  Second leading scorer, Noah Reynolds who was averaging 14.5 points per game is out for the season due to a concussion, leaving Wyoming with no other double figure scorers.

UW did pick up an impressive win in conference play taking down New Mexico in The Pit 70-56 thanks to some sharp shooting from downtown.
