Colorado State Softball Announces Ram Field Grand Opening

Celebration of new and improved complex set for April 1
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Since August 2022, the Colorado State Softball team's Ram Field has been under full renovation with the goal of improving the overall experience for both players and spectators.

Fans, alumni and softball fans in the Fort Collins community are all invited out to the ballpark the night of April 1 to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new and improved Ram Field as Colorado State takes on UNLV at 6 p.m. for the program's first ever night game.

Featuring a new stadium concourse, improved fan seating, new team dugouts, netting throughout the complex and lights over the field, the upgraded Ram Field was made possible thanks to a five million dollar donation from the Bohemian Foundation donated specifically towards Colorado State women's athletics.

With festivities starting at 5 p.m., fans and families are welcome to come take part in the celebration featuring food, a special visit from Cam the Ram and inflatables. The Grand Opening Ceremony will commence at approximately 5:30 p.m. and feature administrative guests such as Colorado State Athletic Director Joe Parker with the National Anthem being performed by CSU student Jasmine Retland.

Admission is free for all fans with parking available free of charge in the Moby Arena parking lot. Additional seating areas will also be available in the outfield grass where fans are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch the Rams take on the Rebels under the lights.

The game will also be available to stream on Mountain West Network and on KCDO Local3 Denver television station.
