Bushara re-sets school record for second time this season

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State track and field team split up to compete in three different locations in California this weekend including with all three meets taking place Thursday afternoon.
 
At the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate hosted by Long Beach State, senior Allam Bushara re-set his own school record in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.91 meters. This is the second time this outdoor season Bushara has increased his own school record mark. He also won the event with the thirteenth best mark in country this season.
 
Sophomore thrower Klaire Kovatch continues to impress this outdoor season as she placed second in the women's javelin throw, setting a personal best mark of 45.41 meters, nearly three meters further than her previous mark.
 
On the men's side, Dominic Gallelli placed second in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.88. This is a season best time for Gallelli.

Senior heptathlete Lexie Keller wrapped up her time at the Mt. SAC Relays Thursday afternoon as the two-time All-American completed her first heptathlon of the season as the lone representative for the Rams in the elite portion of the Mt. SAC Relays. Keller finished tenth overall with a final score of 5,387 points which is a top twenty mark in the country so far this season.

At the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azuna Pacific University, senior Thomas Chaston got the Colorado State distance crew off to a good start after he recorded a personal best time in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:47.17 seconds.
 
The Colorado State distance runners will continue to compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational tomorrow while the rest of the Rams continue their time at Long Beach State for the Long Beach Invitational.
