Colorado State boast multiple personal bests at Long Beach Invitational
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Colorado State track and field team finished up its three-day road trip to the west coast as the Ram sprinters, jumpers and throwers all competed in day two of the Long Beach Invitational hosted by Long Beach State.

Posting multiple personal bests across events, sophomore Jahzara Davis got things started for the Rams with a personal best time in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Davis ran the event in 13.77 seconds, good for 13th place in the event and fourth overall in the Mountain West so far this season.

In the throwing events, two Rams posted personal best marks in the women's discus, including Gabi McDonald who threw a mark of 57.57 meters, good for second place in the event, and Klaire Kovatch who recorded a PR with a mark of 55.59 meters, good for fifth place.

Back to the hurdles events, Germain Barnes placed eighth in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a season best time of 52.98 seconds while sophomore Cole Nordman placed 13th in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.49 seconds, just two one-hundredths off of his personal best time.

The Colorado State triple jump duo of Jo-Anna Pinnock and Allam Bushara were both successful in Saturday's action. Pinnock placed second in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.74 meters while Bushara also placed second in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.64 meters. Both athletes are the current school record holder in their respective triple jump events.

The Rams will travel back to the state of Colorado for their next meet, the Kit Mayer Classic hosted by Colorado School of Mines April 21-22 in Golden, Colorado.
