Richterova Earns Academic All-District Honors

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Carrying a perfect grade-point average at Colorado State, senior tennis player Sarka Richterova was named an Academic All-District member in women's tennis by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.

To earn the distinction, a student-athlete must be a major contributor to the team and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA at the school for which they compete. This is the third consecutive year the Rams have produced an All-District performer, following Somer Dalla-Bona (2022) and Emily Luetschwager (2021).

Richterova, from Prague, Czech Republic, has proven to be one of the top performers for coach Mai-Ly Tran on and off the court. Richterova, majoring in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts, has carried a perfect 4.0 GPA in her two seasons for the Rams.

After going 15-15 this season in singles and 19-9 in doubles, Richterova has produced 33 singles wins in her career, 41 at doubles as the team cracked the ITA rankings for just the second time in program history, remaining in the polls for the final 10 weeks.
