Colorado State finishes first meet post-break

BOULDER, Colo. – The Colorado State track and field team wrapped up day two in Boulder Saturday afternoon at the Potts Invitational as the Rams' runner took the track by storm.

In the return to competition, the Rams used the Potts Invitational to evaluate and fine-tune their skills. Colorado State finished the weekend in Boulder with four athletes breaking personal records and 18 podium placements.
 
Cole Nordman placed on the podium twice on the second day of the Potts Invitational. Nordman finished first in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.93 seconds and second in the men's 60-meter with a time of 6.78 seconds. 
 
In the men's 800-meter dash, Ryan Birkmeier took first with a time of 1:50.51. Carsen Bruns, Kyle Dempsey, Jack Cauble and Kenny Carpenter secured second place for the men's 4x400 relay with a time of 3:17.84.
 
Kealan McNally broke her personal record in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:34.20. Her previous time was 10:42.88.
 
Yasmin Austridge makes her debut in the Colorado State record book in the women's mile run now sitting at No.13 with a time of 4:52.25. Teammate Anna Petr also competed in the women's mile and took third with a time of 4:48.11.
 
Other notable athletes include Rondisia Williams who took second in the women's 60-meter dash with a time of 7.68 seconds. Williams was followed by teammate Abigail Groleau who achieved a time of 7.76 seconds.
