FORT COLLINS – Two separate meets await the Colorado State track and field team in Lincoln, Nebraska, this upcoming weekend. Both meets will be held at the Bob Devaney indoor track at the University of Nebraska.

What you need to know:

Colorado State will send 50 Rams to compete in both the Prairie Wolf Invite and the Mark Colligan Invite. Both meets will take place Friday and Saturday at the Bob Devaney indoor track.
The Prairie Wolf Invite is hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University and will begin at 1 p.m. Track events will start with the women's 5,000-meter dash and field events with women's weight throw, the men to follow.
The Mark Colligan Invite is hosted by Nebraska. Field events will start with women's weight throw Saturday morning at 10:45 followed by women's 60-meter hurdles at 12 p.m.
Awards will be given to the top finishing individual in each event at the Mark Colligan Invite. In honor of former Coach Mark Colligan, additional awards will be granted to the Most Valuable Male and Female thrower.

Meet Notes:

The team spent the last weekend in Boulder competing and evaluating their skills post-winter break. They left Boulder with four Rams achieving personal bests and 18 spots on the podium.
Cole Nordman made a statement by placing on the podium twice. Once in men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.93 seconds and another in men's 60-meters with 6.78 seconds.
Most athletes traveling for the Rams this weekend will compete in both meets with hopes of adding some early-season repetition to their resume.
