- Saturday's game against Ole Miss is the second time the two programs have faced off. The other was also at a neutral site in Cancun.
- Head coach Niko Medved is in his seventh year leading Colorado State. He is 120-75 as the Rams' head coach. His next win will tie him for the second most in program history with Stew Morrill (1992-98) and Larry Eustachy (2012-18).
- He became the fifth coach in program history to reach 100 wins in Fort Collins last year.
- Medved is the only coach in program history to win 20-plus games four times.
- The next win will be the 200th of his career.

- Stevens helped the Heat to a 2024 Summer League Championship.
- CSU has two players currently in the NBA or G League with David Roddy (Atlanta Hawks) and Isaiah Stevens (Miami Heat/Sioux Falls Skyforce).
