Road Win Escapes the Rams Again

Isaiah Stevens sets the program’s single-season scoring record
LAS VEGAS – The road win continues to escape the Colorado State men's basketball team as they fell Saturday night 66-60 to UNLV inside Thomas & Mack Center.
CSU jumped out to a hot start going up 17-7, but closed the half shooting 3-for-15 from the field holding a slim 26-24 advantage at the break.
Tied at 49 with 6:17 left UNLV scored five straight to take the lead for good. The Rams battled back cutting the game to one possession multiple times but were unable to get over the hump in the loss.
Game Notes
- Isaiah Stevens became Colorado State's single-season assists leader with his six assists. He now has 207 on the season passing Ryan Yoder's record of 204 in the 1992-93 season.
- Stevens led the team with 18 points as well.
- Joel Scott and Nique Clifford tied for the team lead with seven rebounds each. They both reached double figures scoring with 13 and 10, respectively.
- UNLV's Dedan Thomas Jr led all scorers with 23 points, including going 12-for-12 from the free throw line. The Rebels went 26-for-31 from the charity stripe compared to CSU's 12-for-18.
