Rams’ Duo Earns Academic Honors

Richterova named All-District for second consecutive season
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With attention to detail off the court, Colorado State's women's tennis duo of Sarka Richterova and Viktoryia Zhadzinskaya were named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
The selection is the second consecutive for Richterova; Zhadzinskaya's is her first. To be eligible, student-athletes must have at least one complete year on campus and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Richterova, a graduate student from Prague, Czech Republic, carried a perfect 4.0 GPA through her college career, finishing with a master's in computer information systems this year. She finished her three-year Colorado State career with 44 singles and 46 doubles victories, earning a trip to the ITA Fall Nationals in doubles.
Zhadzinskaya earned the honor in her first year eligible, carrying a 3.573 GPA in health and exercise science. She was named All-Mountain West in doubles this year along with Radka Buzkova. In two seasons with the Rams, she has amassed 27 singles victories and 39 more in doubles.
