Team, four individuals earn ITA recognition

Completing the designation is always key. For the Colorado State women's tennis team, student-athlete has always carried a lot of weight, with the team and four individuals recognized by the ITA on Monday.

The squad was named All-Academic for the 2023-24 campaign with a 3.61 GPA, while four members – Radka Buzkova, Sarka Richterova, Logan Voeks and Sarah Weekley -- were designated as Scholar Athletes. To make the grade, a team must carry at least a 3.20 GPA for the academic cycle. Individuals must maintain a 3.5 GPA for the academic cycle.

The ITA recognized 255 Division I women's programs and 1,573 individuals at the level.

Earlier this year, Richterova was named CSU Academic All-District, while the team was one of three at the university to carry a perfect APR.
