Colorado State ends successful road trip with win against Wolf Pack
RENO, Nev. – The Colorado State volleyball team defeated the Nevada Wolf Pack 3-1 on the road Saturday afternoon to begin its conference season 2-0.

Â
Under new a new coaching staff, Nevada began the night from behind as the Rams came out to win set one 25-18.

Â
Jones along with setter Emery Herman turned up the offense even higher in the third and fourth set where Jones finished the match with 22 kills, eight and three in the final two sets respectively, while Herman ran the offense totaling 50 assists at a .532 kill rate.
Â
Despite a late surge from Nevada, the Rams where able to defend off a third set win, 25-19 before rolling to a fourth set win 25-14.
Â
Young Rams Kekua Richards and Jordyn Tynksy were able to enter the game thanks to a strong fourth set run to break away for Colorado State. Richards recorded a kill and block in her short playing time, taking advantage of the opportunity.
Â
In addition to Jones and Herman leading the Colorado State offense, Naeemah Weather had her second double-digit kill game in a row, recording 13 kills at a .528 hitting percentage. Rounding out the Rams was freshman Maria Brun who added three service aces.
