FORT COLLINS – Colorado State track and field is headed back to Boulder, this time for the Colorado Classic. The two-day event begins Friday (Jan. 17) with field events and concludes on Saturday with running events.

MEET NOTES

Colorado State will be out in full force as 85 Rams are making the trip to compete at the meet.

Kyle Bigley will look to build off the momentum of his big performances last weekend as he set a career-best in the weight throw with a mark of 64.575.

Kajsa Borrman has continued to impress throughout the early stages of the season, winning the weight throw at both the Wyoming Power Meet and Potts Invitational this season.
Maria Kimpson has had a great start to her 2024-25 season, winning the pole vault at both the Wyoming Power Meet and the UCCS Invitational and Multi. The joint-program-record holder in indoor pole vault, Kimpson has eyes on repeating as the Mountain West Indoor event champion entering 2025.
In the first meet of the season at the Wyoming Power Meet, jumper Ismael Dembele flirted with his career-best long jump mark of 24-2.25, landing just two inches shy. The junior is primed for another good season and figures to be a competitor for the Mountain West indoor long jump crown.
The runner-up in shot put at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track And Field Championships, Gabi Morris is set to compete in her second meet of the season after winning the shot put at the Wyoming Power Meet in December.
