Five new Rams will take the pitch for CSU

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State soccer and head coach Keeley Hagen announced the addition of five future Rams to the program's 2026 recruiting class. The group features players from Colorado, Texas, Wyoming and Oregon, bringing attacking depth, midfield strength and goalkeeping presence to Fort Collins. The class continues the program's momentum under Hagen who has guided the Rams to multiple Mountain West tournament appearances and the first national Top 25 ranking in program history.
 

Breckyn Ferrell | Midfielder | 5-8 | Austin, Texas | Lake Travis HS (6A)

Holding midfielder Breckyn Ferrell will join the Rams from Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas. A multi-year captain for one of the top programs in Texas 6A soccer, Ferrell led her team to the 6A Division I state runner-up finish in 2024 and earned numerous honors including District Midfielder of the Year, First Team All-District, All-Region and All-State recognition from both TASCO and the United Soccer Coaches. She was voted team MVP twice and named Academic All-District each season. Ferrell was born in Colorado and will return to the mountains to continue her academic and athletic career at CSU.

"I chose Colorado State because I was born in Colorado and have always wanted to go back to the mountains. I really like the style of play and team values within the program. I was also drawn to the environment and culture that Coach Keeley has built over the past few years."


Ava Wallhead | Forward | 5-8 | Laramie, Wyo. | Laramie HS (4A)

Forward Ava Wallhead will arrive in Fort Collins from Laramie, Wyoming. A dynamic attacker and three-time First Team All-State and All-Conference selection, Wallhead has also represented at the national level earning selections to the U17 U.S. Olympic Development Program and U.S. Talent ID Camp. In addition to soccer she has excelled in track and field holding school sprint records in the 55-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay. A dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom, Wallhead will bring speed and scoring ability to the Rams' attack.

"I chose Colorado State because it is far enough from my hometown and I really like the program and the atmosphere that the team brings."


Kennedy Albertson | Forward/Midfielder | 5-6 | Castle Rock, Colo. | Castle View HS (5A)

Kennedy Albertson will make the short trip north from Castle Rock to join the Rams. At Castle View High School she earned All-State Honorable Mention recognition, set the program's single-season record for goals as a sophomore and was voted team MVP. She has also been named the Positive Athlete Award recipient and appeared on both the Principal's Honor Roll and High Honor Roll. Albertson's CSU roots run deep. Her grandmother ran track and her grandfather earned his veterinary degree at Colorado State. Her second cousin is former NFL tight end Greg Olsen.

Britland Raisey | Goalkeeper | 5-6 | Frisco, Texas | Lone Star HS (5A)

Goalkeeper Britland Raisey will bring strong shot-stopping ability and composure from Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas. Raisey is a two-time First Team All-District and Second Team All-Region selection in Texas 5A competition. She is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in kinesiology with aspirations of becoming a physical therapist.


Why Raisey chose CSU

"When I took my visit there last October, I loved the campus and the whole vibe. Meeting and hanging out with the girls and coaches showed me CSU was the best fit for me and what I look for in a college."


Ana Kubiaczyk | Midfielder | 5-8 | Portland, Ore. | Jesuit HS (6A)

Midfielder Ana Kubiaczyk will join the Rams from nationally ranked Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon. A four-year varsity player and current team captain, Kubiaczyk helped Jesuit to two 6A State Championships, including her junior season when she was named OSAA 6A State Championship Player of the Game after recording an assist and the game-winning goal. She has totaled more than 25 goals and 35 assists in her high school career, earning All-Metro League and All-Academic recognition. Ranked No. 230 on the Prep Soccer Top 500 National List, she competes for Portland Thorns ECNL. She has participated in the US Soccer YNT ID Center, ODP Interregional Camp and the National Futsal Development Program Tour in Argentina.


Why Kubiaczyk chose CSU

"I chose Colorado State because of the competitive culture of the program and how they use their midfielders. I really like the direction Coach Hagen is taking the program and look forward to being pushed to my full potential. As soon as I set foot on campus I knew it was the place for me. It is similar to where I am from in Oregon but with better weather in all four seasons."
