Colorado State Hits the Road for First Time in November

Rams ride six-game win streak into matchups against Utah State and Boise State

FORT COLLINS –Colorado State added two more wins to its recrod last week, sweeping Fresno State 3-0 before battling for a 3-2 victory over San Jose State. The Rams now hit the road to face Utah State where they are looking to avenge a 3-0 home loss last month and aim to defeat Boise State for the second time this season.

What You Need to Know

  •  CSU went 2-0 last week, sweeping Fresno State and taking San Jose to a five set match and coming out on top.  

  • The Rams' front line produced key blocks in their five-set win over San José State. 

  • With just a few weeks left in conference play the Rams look forward to clinching road wins to secure their spot in Mountain West standings. 

Scouting the Aggies 

  • The Aggies currently lead the Mountain West in hitting percentage, hits, and kills. 

  • Mara Štiglic was named Mountain West offensive Student-Athlete of the Week. 

  • The Aggies are on a streak and clinched their 13th win in a row this week.

Scouting the Broncos  

  • The Broncos, Ari Bilby, had a match-high of 14 kills. 

  • MB Eliza Sharp recorded 11 blocks and nine kills throughout last week's matches. 

  • In last week's match against San Diego State the Broncos hit .237 as a team, while holding SDSU to just .143. 

Match Notes 

  • Eve Wilson hit .480 in Saturday's match against Boise State adding 14 kills to the board.  

  • Halle Jameson gained her seventh double double of the season with 14 kills and 16 digs 

  • As a team the Rams lead opponents in total kills, having 1,113 compared to 983.
