Colorado State looks to end 2025 on a high note
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State closes out the calendar year on Tuesday night by hosting Nevada at 7 p.m. for a Mountain West matchup.
Fans can take advantage of the Family Night Out deal for the Nevada game, featuring BOGO tickets and reduced concessions. Winter break also means the Student Rush program is back again. Any student (college, high school, middle school or elementary school) can receive a free ticket to the game by just showing their student I.D. to the ticket office.

Opening Tip
- Colorado State dropped its Mountain West opener at Utah State 100-58 right before the holiday break.
- Only two Rams reached double figures scoring in Carey Booth (14) and Brandon Rechsteiner (11).
- CSU had its season low in points (58), field goal percentage (36.7%) and assists (9). While matching a season high in turnovers (15).

- Colorado State has the longest active streak of having a player on the first team All-Mountain West list at seven years. Nico Carvacho (2019-20), David Roddy (2021-22), Isaiah Stevens (2023-24) and Nique Clifford (2025).
- Nique Clifford became the fourth player in program history to be picked in the first round of the NBA Draft in June. Clifford was the 24th pick overall by Oklahoma City with his rights traded to Sacramento.
- Clifford had one of the best seasons in program history his final year. He earned AP All-America honorable mention, was the MVP for the Mountain West Tournament and helped the program earn its first Mountain West title since 2003 by winning the Mountain West Tournament.
Scouting the Wolf Pack
Nevada started Mountain West play with a strong showing, defeating Boise State at home 81-66. The Wolf Pack shot 55.6% in the win and got to the free throw line 34 times, making 27 of those attempts.
On the year, Nevada is 9-3 overall with all three losses coming in a four-game stretch. Since then, the Wolf Pack have won five straight games.
The duo of Tayshawn Comer and Elijah Price lead the way for Nevada averaging 16.1 and 11.8 points per game, respectively. The Wolf Pack do a good job of getting to the charity stripe, averaging 28.1 free throw attempts per game, making 74.6% of those attempts.
