Colorado State dropped their match after going neck-and-neck with Buffalo
TUCSON, Ariz. – With a recharged roster, the Rams proved they won't go down without a fight.Â

Colorado State women's tennis team kept the match with Buffalo close today, ultimately losing 4-3. Rams freshmen Diana Lizarazo returned to the lineup Friday for both doubles and singles.Â

Lizarazo didn't finish her doubles match with partner Viktoryia Zhadzinskaya with the Rams other two doubles teams securing their matches 6-4, 6-2. Â

Victoria Erechtchenko and Sarah Weekley's 6-4 doubles win was their third win of the dual season.Â
Â
After securing her doubles match, Victoria Erechtchenko went on to win her singles match in straight sets going 6-0, 6-3. Lizarazo was the only other CSU player to win singles against Liv Roestel. Â
Mariya Dobreva's singles match was the deciding match with both teams tied at three. Dobreva won the first game 6-4, followed by a win from Blanca Berges 6-2. The players were toe-to-toe in the final game with Dobreva falling 7-5. Â

Regardless of the result, the Rams were relentless in their battle to the end.Â
