PEORIA, Ariz. – The Colorado State women's golf team finished eighth overall at the Westbrook Invitational Monday afternoon playing +3 as a team with Kara Kaneshiro leading the Rams with a sixth-place individual finish, her third top-ten finish this season.

Westbrook Invite | Team Finish: 8th

Leading the way for the Rams was Kaneshiro who totaled 16 birdies across three rounds, including all three rounds on hole 15, to finish the tournament -8. The sophomore finished under par in the first two rounds before playing even in round three. Her top-ten finish put her ahead of four top-100 ranked athletes competing in the tournament.
Senior Lacey Uchida finished second in the Rams' lineup, also under par for the invitational, finishing the tournament -1 and in 31^st place. Uchida finished her time in Arizona strong playing -2 in the third round, her best round of the tournament. She totaled eight birdies overall.
Freshman Ebba Thalen also finished the tournament on her best round, playing -2 in round three to finish +3 in 44^th place overall. She totaled six birdies on the weekend, including one to kickoff the invitational.
Pemika Arphamongkol and Jacinda Lee rounded out the Ram five for the weekend. Arphamongkol finished 60^th overall, playing +9 with four birdies while Lee finished 73^rd playing +14 with six birdies. Both Rams had their best rounds in round three, finishing the tournament strong.

Up Next: Colorado State will return to its spring season for the Clover Cup March 10-12, returning to Arizona and playing at the Wigwam Resort.
