Multiple throwers set personal bests in Golden.

FORT COLLINS – Colorado State track and field doubled the action on Friday, finishing up the Bryan Clay Multi's, while Kajsa Borrman and the Ram's throwers stole the show in Golden.  
 
Mines Kit Mayer (Golden, Colo.)  

  • For the second week in a row, Loveland native Borrman recorded a personal best in the hammer throw. Borrman moves to second all-time in program history, passing Kelcey Bedard. The 67.27-meters/220-feet-8 throw was enough to win the event and ranks as the fifth-best mark in the country this season. 
  • On the men's side, freshman Adam Hellbom showed out once again finishing third place in the hammer throw. Following him was Cameron Kalaf and Leonardo Ramos, with Ramos throwing a personal best 59.49. Trailing him was freshman Alex Jensen who once again threw a personal best (51.71).  
  • Also impressing in the hammer throw was Baylor transfer Makayla Long. Long recorded a fourth-place finish at 58.76, a mark high enough to rank in the top 100 in the country. Freshman Erin Brown also recorded a personal best, throwing a 50.64.  
  • The Colorado State indoor pole vault record holder, Maria Kimpson, finished second in the event in Golden, recording an outdoor personal best of 4.02. Kimpson ranks fourth all time in the outdoor record book. Freshman Ella Pickron finished eighth at 3.57, the first mark of her outdoor campaign. On the men's side of the pole vault, Justin Bate recorded a personal best 4.76, good enough for a third-place finish. 
 
Bryan Clay Multis (Azusa, Calif.)  
  • Tereza Babicka finished her day in 12th place, competing in the top women's heat of the meet. Babicka threw the javelin (38.02) and ran the 800 (2:16.93) for the first time this season, setting personal bests in both. The Czech Republic native finished her day with 5,203 points. 
  • Redshirt junior Cameron Collins finished sixth in his heat with a score of 6,486. Collins put up three personal bests on Thursday, then added a personal best in the 110 hurdles, and javelin on Friday. Collins finished fifth in the 100H at 16.82, and fifth in the javelin toss with a mark of 48.91.  
  • Elijah Scott finished 12th in his heat, with a score of 6,485. Scott recorded a personal best of 15.02 in the 100H.
