Freshman sets personal best in women’s steeple chase.
AZUSA, Calif. – The Colorado State track and field distance crew competed in a trio of races on day one of the Brian Clay Invitational on Wednesday, with freshman Allison Pippert leading the way.
- Pippert shined for CSU in the women's steeplechase as she ran a 10:33.56 to finish 28th in the open heat. The time was a personal best for the freshman and ranks 11th all time in CSU history. Kensey May also ran in the heat, clocking a 10:53.47.
- In the men's 10,000 meter run, Cory Kennedy posted a time of 30:06.89 to finish 21st in the Invite Heat 2.
- Madison King took part in the women's 10k, running a 36:22.30 to finish 29th in the second heat.
