The Border War on hardwood returns Saturday in Laramie
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State and Wyoming renew their rivalry on Saturday night when the Rams travel the hour North to Laramie to take on the Cowboys at 7:30 p.m.
Opening Tip
- Colorado State had its lowest point total (50) and field goal percentage (33.3%) of the season in a 73-50 loss at San Diego State on Wednesday.
- No Ram reached double figures scoring for the first time since December 19, 2020 against Saint Mary's.
- Jevin Muniz was the closest Ram to reaching double figures with nine points. He added in five assists and two rebounds.

- Nique Clifford became the fourth player in program history to be picked in the first round of the NBA Draft in June. Clifford was the 24th pick overall by Oklahoma City with his rights traded to Sacramento.
- Clifford had one of the best seasons in program history his final year. He earned AP All-America honorable mention, was the MVP for the Mountain West Tournament and helped the program earn its first Mountain West title since 2003 by winning the Mountain West Tournament.
Scouting the Cowboys
Wyoming and Colorado State have had very similar seasons coming in with identical overall and conference records.
Offensively, Wyoming is led by the duo of Leland Walker (15.5 ppg) and Nasir Meyer (13.6 ppg). Walker also leads the team in assists (3.6) and Meyer in rebounds (5.2).
They Cowboys like to attack the offensive glass grabbing 12.48 offensive boards per game to lead the Mountain West and rank 72nd in the nation.
