2015 (Junior): Appeared in two games as a defensive back... Recorded his first career tackle in a season-opening win over Savannah State (9/5).

2014 (Sophomore): Did not play; spent season as a varsity reserve.

2013 (Freshman): Was used sparingly toward the end of the season on special teams, appearing in four contests... Made his collegiate debut vs. Boise State (11/2).

2012 (Redshirt): Redshirted during his first collegiate season.

Is a 2012 graduate of Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas.
Racked up seven career interceptions as a three-year starter.
Helped the Cougars to three consecutive berths in the regional round of the Texas postseason.
As a senior in 2012, garnered first-team All-Big Country (Abilene Reporter-News), first-team All-District 4 and honorable-mention all-state accolades.
Posted 103 tackles and two forced fumbles as a senior in 2011, also picking off two passes, one of which he returned 38 yards for a touchdown... Also returned a kickoff 100 yards for another score.
As a junior in 2011, with CSU teammate Davon Riddick in the CHS offensive backfield, helped the 11-2 Cougars to a tie for the district crown, intercepting four passes with 81 tackles.
As a first-year starter in 2009, helped CHS to a district championship and 10-4 record, registering one interception.
Also lettered four years in track, specializing in the sprint and 4x200 relays.
Top prep speed in the 40-yard dash was 4.5 seconds.
