The Colorado State softball team and Coach Jen Fisher announced the addition of Garrett Fisher as an assistant coach during the fall of 2024.

Fisher joins the Rams after spending his last four years playing collegiate baseball at Northern Colorado. During his time at UNC, Fisher was named a WAC All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2021 and an All-Summit League Honorable Mention in 2024. He was also recognized for his performance on the field by being named MyGreeley.com’s Student-Athlete of the Week and Ticketmaster’s #SummitBSB Peak Performer of the Week, both during his 2024 season.

Fisher also received several academic recognitions during his time as a Bear including Summit League All-Academic Honor Roll in 2022, Summit League All-Academic Team in 2024 and Academic All-District Team in 2024.

This is Fisher’s first experience in a coaching role, where he will be working directly with the Colorado State catchers. Garrett will be following in the footsteps of his mother, Head Coach Jen Fisher, who is entering her 15th season at the helm of the Colorado State softball program.

Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Fisher brings high-level experience and is ready to make a direct impact to the Colorado State team this season.
