As a rookie utility player, started all 54 games as the leadoff hitter in the batting lineup with 35 starts in left field, seven each in center field and second base and five at shortstop… scored a team-high 29 runs and had a team-high 176 at-bats …also led the team in stolen bases (5-for-6) … was second on the team with a .284 batting average tying Nicole Lopez with a team-high 50 hits…she also ranked second on the team with 18 walks and was third with a .354 on-base percentage…tallied three doubles, two triples (tied with Nicole Lopez for team-high), and seven RBI…led the team amassing 14 multiple-hit games, including a career-high three hits against Wichita State (Feb. 19)…led UH with the highest batting average at .317 when hitting with two outs; second highest at .265 with runners in scoring position…in conference, posted a .278 batting average (20-for-72) with her 20 hits being second highest on the team…her one triple led the team during conference play and four walks was third on the team… was 1-for-2 in stolen bases and also scored five runs with a double and two RBI…named to the 2016 Big West All-Freshman Team as a utility player…named a UH Scholar-Athlete with honors (3.21-3.50 cumulative GPA).
