Stephanie Johnson joined the sports medicine staff in 2016 as a graduate assistant and was hired as a full time Assistant Athletic Trainer July 2018 after completing her master’s degree coursework. She retains her sport assignments as the primary athletic trainer for Ram softball, cheerleading and Golden Poms.
A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in athletic training in 2015 from the University of Indianapolis. She started her career as an intern at Butler University assisting with daily football operations and the primary athletic trainer for men's and women's golf and cheerleading.
Johnson is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
