Rams welcome Kendall Ferguson, Isabelle Oefinger, Alexis Kyles, Peyton Hosey, Taylor McCann and Ellie McManigal

FORT COLLINS — Head Coach Jen Fisher and the Colorado State softball program announced the addition of six athletes to the 2026 recruiting class Wednesday afternoon on National Signing Day. Kendall Ferguson, Isabelle Oefinger, Alexis Kyles, Peyton Hosey, Taylor McCann and Ellie McManigal will all join the Rams next fall.

"Overall, I just wanted to to commend our coaching staff, because I believe this is the most talented & competitive class in my 15 plus years at CSU. I definitely believe this class will elevate our program immediately," Fisher said.

Kendall Ferguson
Catcher/Infield | 5'9" | R/R | Highlands Ranch, CO | Valor Christian High School | @kendallferguson04

Fisher on Ferguson
"Ferguson is one of the brightest young stars nationally, and we just feel so fortunate that she chose CSU. We think we have a great development plan for Kendall and that she is definitely ready to turn CSU into a contender for the next four years."

Kendall on CSU
"I chose Colorado State because of the amazing people I get to surround myself with every day. The strong team culture and supportive coaches truly embody the athletic and academic side of Colorado State. The beautiful campus and the opportunity to compete at a high level made it the perfect place for me."

Isabelle Oefinger
Catcher/Infield | 5'11" | R/R | Bells, TX | Bells High School | @isabelle_oef

Fisher on Oefinger
"Oefinger is not only a force to reconned with offensively but will also add some needed depth at the catching position. Izzy is a special player who fans are really going to enjoy watching. We literally knew in the first hour of her visit, that this gal was going to be a Ram!"

Isabelle on CSU
"I chose Colorado State because of the team culture, coaching staff and the ability to be in the Honors College. Plus, the beautiful campus!"

Alexis "Lulu" Kyles
Infield | 5'3" | R/R | San Diego, CA | Del Norte High School | @alexiskyless

Fisher on Kyles
"Lulu is a complete 4/5 tool player. Fast-twitch is an understatement with Lulu. She reminds me a lot of current Ram, Kaylynn English in that she can do it all. We are so thrilled to land this caliber of athlete, but even more excited to get a front row seat to her journey, which is sure to be thrilling."

Alexis on CSU
"I chose Colorado state because the second I walked on campus I knew that is where I wanted my future home to be, the environment, people, and campus made me feel like I already found my home for the next 4 years!"

Peyton Hosey
Pitcher | 5'6" | L/L | Bedford, TX | Trinity High School | @peyton_brooke25

Fisher on Hosey
"At the pitching position Peyton Hosey brings a dynamic and unique look. Peyton is a competitor and much like current Left-Handed Throwing Ram, Reagan Wick, Hosey is expected to eat up innings right out of the gate. We love Peyton's mindset on the field. She's really a great fit for us, and the staff felt it right from the beginning. We foresee Peyton quickly becoming a 15-plus game winner. We are getting a really gifted pitcher and an even better person."

Peyton on CSU
"I chose Colorado State because of the coaches, people, and the campus."

Taylor McCann
Infield | 5'5" | R/R | Colorado Springs, CO | Discovery Canyon Campus High School | @taylor_brooke1012

Fisher on McCann
"Taylor is a hard-nosed hustle player, a headband Joe type of kid who definitely can make our team more competitive. Also, Taylor comes from a top-notch Coach in Tanya Ramsey, who played for me in my first year as a college coach. Coach Ramsey always has the best coached and most high-spirited, hustle type kids. She definitely teaches them how to play the game the right way. Taylor is most aligned with my style of play and I cannot wait to watch her play as a Ram."

McCann on CSU
"I have grown up a Ram fan, going to CSU games. My parents, aunts, and uncles all attended CSU."

Ellie McManigal
Infield/Catcher | 5'4" | R/R | Eagle, ID | Eagle High School | @elliemcmanigal

Fisher on McManigal
"We have been watching Ellie for some time and feel so fortunate that Ellie was still available. Ellie can play multiple positions, and is one of the best all-around ball players I have seen in some time. Her game IQ and instincts are so impressive. Additionally, we are excited to witness Ellie's academic journey towards becoming a vet."

Ellie on CSU
"I love area and I have an interest in veterinary medicine."
