Sarah Weatherford joined Colorado State sports medicine staff in 2016 and is currently an assistant athletic trainer. Weatherford works with the women’s soccer program and as the insurance coordinator. Previously, she spent two years (2016-18) as a graduate assistant.
Weatherford earned her bachelor’s degree from Ohio State in 2016, working with the program’s women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, football and rowing programs along with several outside clinical rotations during her undergraduate work. She also worked at several NCAA, Big Ten and Ohio High School Championships in her three years. In May 2018, Weatherford added a master’s degree from CSU to her resume.
Weatherford is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
