David Anderson came to Colorado State in 2002 from Westlake Village, California and would make a legendary impact on Rams football for the next four seasons. As a wide receiver, Anderson went on to set the school record for receiving yards at 3,634 which lasted until 2015. Anderson also held the school record for receptions in a season when he had 1,293 yards in 2003 until 2014. A two-time All-Conference wide receiver, he led the MWC in receptions in both 2003 and 2005. Anderson was a member of the 2002 Mountain West Conference champion team. As a senior, Anderson was named to both the 2005 Hula Bowl and East-west Shrine game.Â
Anderson was chosen in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL draft by the Houston Texans where he spent six seasons before ending his pro career with Washington. He played 67 games in the NFL scoring four touchdowns and receiving for 965 yards.Â
