Colorado State softball Head Coach Mary Yori announced today the signing of four players to National Letters of Intent to play at Colorado State beginning in 2006-07.
Allison Majam (Pine Valley, Calif. / Mountain Empire H.S.), Robyn Mask (Vancouver, Wash. / Prairie H.S.) and Sarah Sullivan (Sterling, Colo. / Sterling H.S.) make up the latest additions to a Rams softball team that has won 30-plus games in each of the last three seasons, including back-to-back Mountain West Conference Championships in 2003 and 2004.
"These three players bring a lot of great athleticism to our team," said Yori. "All three play at a very competitive level and possess a lot of experience that they will bring to our program."
Majam, a left-handed power hitter, earned all CIF Division IV honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior at Mountain Empire High School and will complete her senior season in the spring. She is a two-time Citrus League West Player of the Year (2003, 2005) and has led the Red Hawks to three straight league championships. Majam currently plays for the SoCal Breakers club team.
Mask, who will also finish her senior season in the spring, earned all-league second team honors as a freshman and sophomore as well as all-league and all-region first team accolades as a junior in 2005. In addition to her high school accomplishments, Mask competes for the Vancouver Power club team during the summer.
Sullivan competes locally for the Fort Collins Triple Crown Stars club team. At Sterling High School, she has earned All Tri-Valley (2003) and All Northern Conference (2004) honors as a shortstop. As a senior in 2005, Sullivan was named to the All Northern Conference team as a catcher and garnered Northern Conference Player of the Year honors.
