Colorado State senior second baseman Stephanie Roberts was today named to the 2005 Softball Easton All-American Third Team.

Roberts was one of three student-athletes from the Mountain West Conference honored by Easton, as both Lauren Watson-Perry and Ianeta Lei of BYU were named to the second team.

Roberts hit .353 on the season with a slugging percentage of .554, including a Mountain West Conference leading 27 walks. Roberts ranks in the top five in 13 of 16 career statistical categories at Colorado State and as a senior this season earned her third All-Region selection by the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association). She was just the fourth player in school history to be named All-Region three times in her career, and ends her career ranked first in career walks with 85, as well as second in games played, games started, runs scored and third in home runs.

Colorado State went 30-22 in 2005, advancing to the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference Championship.
