Softball Signs One

Colorado State head coach Mary Yori has today announced one athlete has signed a national Letter of Intent to play softball for the Rams.

Caitlan Stem (Short Stop/Outfield, Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield HS)
A four-time first-team all-conference performer, Stem has also been recognized as an All-Colorado player during her time in high school, earning two honorable mention nods as a freshman and sophomore and second-team honors her junior season. As a senior, Stem hit .564 for Broomfield and has been named the as a Colorado Coaches Girls Sports All-State Athlete, as well as twice receiving Female Athlete of the Week honors from the Boulder Daily-Camera.

"We are happy to add her to our roster," said Yori. "Any time we can sign a local star like that is great for our program. Caitlan is a very fast player and she will bring a lot of speed to our team. She is also capable of playing multiple positions and brings a very competitive attitude with her."
