Women's Tennis Falls to No. 22 TCU

The Colorado State women's tennis team fell to No. 22 TCU, 7-0, today in Fort Worth, Texas. The Rams are now 8-7 overall and 1-2 in the Mountain West.
After a stunning win yesterday over No. 2 doubles pair Iva Gersic and Maja Kovacek, Emily Kirchem and Anne Andersen were unable to keep up with the No. 59 pair of Helena Besovic and Ana Cetnik and lost to them, 8-1.
In singles play, No. 94 Kirchem was defeated by No. 11 Nicole Liembach, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Andersen lost to No. 35 Besovic, 6-4, 6-0, at No. 2 singles.
The Rams continue play on Friday in Denver when they face the No. 45 Denver Pioneers and on Saturday at home against Wyoming. The match against Wyoming will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Miramont Sport Center outdoor courts.
