Coming off of a 10-13 team record from last year, the Rams look to improve with several new additions to the squad. With three nationally ranked teams, BYU, Washington State, and Boise State, in the BYU Invitational, Coach Jon Messick is, "Anxious to see how competitive the new players are." Two incoming freshmen, Laura Neal and Kirsten Stople, led by University of Iowa transfer, and team captain, Hilary Tyler.

While the Rams may be a fairly "young" team, they are "As good of a team as we've seen in a while," Coach Messick commented. He also "likes the attitude" the 2006-2007 Colorado State women's tennis team is sure to carry with them throughout the season.
