Softball Announces Fall Schedule

The Colorado State softball head coach Mary Yori announced the Rams' fall schedule today. The 2006 fall slate will be highlighted by two tournaments and an alumni game on their home field.
The Rams open their fall schedule with the Triple Crown Fall Classic September 23-34 at Ram Field followed by the alumni game on September 30. The last home stand will be the Triple Crown Tournament on October 1. The team will close out the fall season at the University of Nebraska Fall Tournament in Lincoln, Neb.
The Rams will open the Triple Crown Fall Classic against Fort Lewis and CSU-Pueblo September 23 at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively, before traveling to Triple Crown Field for a 3:30 p.m. game with Regis University. On Sunday, the team will face Colorado School of Mines at 9:30 a.m. and Western Nebraska at 11:30 a.m.
October 7-8 the Rams will head to Lincoln for the University of Nebraska Fall Tournament. They will face Nebraska in a double header on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. followed by matchups with Kansas and Creighton on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., respectively.
Opponents and times for the Triple Crown Tournament have yet to be finalized.
The spring softball season is set to begin February 8 against New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M.
