Rams finish fall exhibition play 6-1

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State softball team bounced back from a 10-0 defeat at the hands of the Northern Colorado Bears on Sept. 23 to win six straight to conclude fall exhibition play. The Rams won the second half of that doubleheader against UNC, 9-7.
Five days later, the Rams hosted the Triple Crown Fall Classic and won all five games, outscoring their opponents 39-10. The Rams beat Metro State on Sept. 28, 6-0, and on the next day Colorado State defeated Utah State and Montana State-Billings, 3-2 and 5-0, respectively. The Rams finished the Fall Classic on Sept. 30, beating Colorado School of Mines, 13-8, and Regis, 12-0.
The alumnae game officially concluded the fall season for the Rams. The current Rams beat the former Rams, 8-1.
Colorado State kicks off the spring season Feb. 8 against the Oregon Ducks in the Cathedral City Kickoff in Palm Springs, Calif.
