FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State softball Head Coach Mary Yori will be inducted into the University of Nebraska-Omaha Hall of Fame on Nov. 7 at the 32nd Annual UNO Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet.

Yori, the winningest softball coach in UNO school history, led the Mavericks to a 459-158 record during her 11-year career at UNO from 1988-99. She won nearly 75 percent of the games she coached, the fifth highest figure in NCAA Division II history, and she led the Mavericks to four straight North Central Conference championships from 1994-97. During that span, UNO also appeared in four consecutive NCAA Regionals. The Mavs finished third twice, fifth once and in 1996 advanced to the championship game. The program produced eight All-Americans and two first-team CoSIDA Academic All-Americans. She was named the national Coach of the Year in both 1994 and 1996 by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Her teams reached the NCAA II regionals 10 straight years.

Yori was named Colorado State's head softball coach in July of 2000, and immediately put in place a plan to build the school's softball program into one of the nation's finest. Her goals are based on the success she achieved throughout her coaching and playing career.

In 2003, Yori led the Rams to a 37-15 record with an NCAA regional appearance. In 2004, Yori and the Rams followed the success of the 2003 campaign with a 40-14 record, becoming only the second squad in school history to reach the 40-win plateau. Yori earned Mountain West Coach of the Year honors for the second straight season as the Rams won the first MWC regular-season title in school history.

Coach Yori notched her name into the CSU record books once again, becoming only the second coach in Colorado State history to reach 100 wins. Her record at CSU now stands at 192-176, including a 163-107 mark over the last five seasons. Yori also reached another career milestone in 2006, earning her 600th career victory, over Central Michigan on Feb. 17.
