FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State softball team will offer two sessions of its Summer Training Camp in late June, giving players ages 14 and up the opportunity to train in a practice-like setting and get a feel for a typical practice of a college softball player.  Head Coach Mary Yori made the announcement Monday.

The Rams will offer two sessions, June 28 and 29, in which campers will receive instruction from current and former Rams players and coaches, including Yori, who won her 700th career game as a head coach in 2009.

Topics covered each day will include hitting drills and mechanics, base running, throwing mechanics, and defensive skills.  Campers will also have an opportunity to find out more about college softball during informative question-and-answer sessions, group breakouts, and chalk talks with coaches and players.

Each session costs $120 per camper and will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Campers will receive a camp T-shirt and goodie bag, and a box lunch will be provided.
