Weekend softball schedule adjusted for CSU-SDSU series

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The weekend schedule for Colorado State softball's three-game series against Mountain West leader San Diego State has been set.
The schedule, which was altered by a mid-week snow storm, will now feature a double-header on Saturday afternoon, followed by a single game on Sunday.
Game 1 of Saturday's twin bill is slated for a 2 p.m. MT first pitch at Ram Field. Game 2 will at approximately 4 p.m. MT, or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.
Sunday's finale, which also includes a pre-game "Senior Day" celebration, will begin at 1 p.m. MT.
The Rams (21-22, 7-5 MW) are one game behind the Aztecs (30-17, 8-4 MW) in the race for the conference championship. Colorado State closes its regular-season schedule May 9-11, traveling to Albuquerque, N.M., for a matchup with last-place New Mexico (21-29, 3-9 MW).
