FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State softball program will again host its winter camps for players of all ages and skill levels.
More sessions have been added this season, improving the player-to-coach ration and giving your camper even greater dedicated instruction. Players can choose between one and eight sessions to partake in over the two-day camp. The sessions cover a variety of skills, including hitting, pitching, catching, short game, infield, outfield and speed/agility and sports vision. A more detailed description of each session can be found here.
The winter camp for players in grades 3-8 will take place Jan. 17-18, with camp for grades 9-12 being held Jan. 24-25. All sessions will take place on campus at the school’s Indoor Practice Facility.
In addition to high-level training from CSU’s coaching staff and student-athletes, each camper will receive an Under Armour T-shirt, and those participating in multiple sessions will receive additional perks, including an Under Armour sack pack, visor and additional T-shirts.
Space is limited, and all registration will take place online. The CSU winter softball camp makes for great Christmas gifts.
The Rams begin their 2015 season on Feb. 6, and will host the Colorado State Classic March 6-8 at Ram Field. Admission to all home games is free. CSU finished the 2014 season with the most wins since 2004, and the program’s fifth-highest winning percentage ever.
