IN THEIR WORDS…
"We got a great performance from freshmen Amber Nelson and Lauren Buchanan. Both of them have a championship mentality. Amber has been on a hot streak lately, and Lauren really wanted to be put in that situation late. They both work so hard and you never to worry about their mentality." - Head Coach Jen Fisher said about freshmen Amber Nelson and Lauren Buchanan coming through in the clutch
"I thought we got great performances from both of our pitchers. Bridgette made some mental notes during that first game while watching and really used those to her advantage when she went to pitch in the second game. I also think Holly was only a pitch away from maybe winning that first game, so I think the pitching was solid today." - Fisher on the team's pitching, with Holly Reinke starting the first game and Bridgette Hutton the second
STAT OF THE DAY…
4 - CSU freshman pitcher Bridgette Hutton allowed only four hits in her complete game win on Friday.

- Haley Hutton was walked four times across the two games today, giving her 89 total walks for her career. Hutton, a junior, is now tied for the CSU career record with Emily Pohl (2011-14).
- Lauren Buchanan now has 20 RBI on the season, making her the sixth different CSU player to reach that plateau this season.
