AUSTIN, Texas – Colorado State women golfers Katrina Prendergast and Ellen Secor both moved up the leaderboard in the second round of the Austin Regional. Prendergast moved 14 spots to be tied for 18th after recording a one-under 71. Secor advanced 12 spots during the day, now tied for 79th with a two-over 74 in round two.

Both Rams started at 7:50 this morning with Prendergast on the first tee and Secor on the 10th. Prendergast stayed even or below the whole day, recording her first birdie of the round on the fifth hole. At the turn she was playing at even par, but recorded two more birdies on the back course before finishing with a one-under 71. CARD

Secor found rhythm in the second day, starting on the back course and inking back-to-back birdies to start. The sophomore made the turn at even par before heading to the front nine and adding another birdie. Secor finished the day with a two-over 74 after tallying a pair of bogies in the last four holes. CARD

The pair will concluded the Austin Regional on Wednesday, both set to tee off at 7:50 a.m. MT. Prendergast will be start on the front course, while Secor will start on the back. PAIRINGS

The top-six teams and three individuals not affiliated with those six teams advance to the NCAA Championship, which takes place May 18-23, 2018 at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla.
