The fans voted – here are the results

For nine days in June, thousands of Colorado State football fans voted for their #AllTimeRams squad.
 
A reminder of how the team was constructed:
  • Players on the ballot will have played at CSU from 1968-2017. No current Rams or players who finished their careers prior to 1968 are included.
  • Fans can vote a maximum of five times per position group.
  • There will be a "first team" and an "second team". Each team will consist of:
    • 1 quarterback
    • 2 running backs/full backs
    • 2 wide receivers
    • 1 tight end
    • 5 offensive linemen
    • 4 defensive linemen
    • 3 linebackers
    • 4 defensive backs
    • 1 placekicker
    • 1 punter
    • 1 return specialist
 
So, without further ado, here is the #AllTimeRams squad, as voted by you, the fans.
 
Quarterback:
Bradlee Van Pelt (2001-03)
Bradlee Van Pelt was twice named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year, earning the honor in 2002 and 2003. He helped lead the Rams to a league title in 2002, posting a 10-4 record that year and reaching No. 16 in the national polls.
 
Second Team: Moses Moreno (1995-97)
 

Running Backs:
Kapri Bibbs (2013)
Kapri Bibbs smashed several CSU records during his one season in Fort Collins in 2013. Bibbs holds program records in season rushing yards (1,741) and season rushing touchdowns (31). He also owns two of CSU's three highest single-game rushing totals, posting 312 yards against Nevada and then rushing for 291 just one week later at New Mexico.
 
Cecil Sapp (2000-02)
Cecil Sapp received All-Mountain West honors in 2000 and 2002. He led the Mountain West in rushing in 2002, setting a CSU record with 1,601 yards on the ground. Sapp would hold that record until 2013.
 
Second Team: Steve Bartalo (1983-86), Kevin McDougal (1996-99)
 

Wide Receivers:
Michael Gallup (2016-17)
Michael Gallup made the most of his two seasons as a Ram, and wound up being CSU's second Biletnikoff Award finalist in four years, joining Higgins. Gallup was also a consensus All-American after posting a school record 100 receptions in 2017.
 
Rashard Higgins (2013-15)
Rashard Higgins was a consensus All-American and a Biletnikoff Award finalist in 2014, posting 1,750 yards and 17 touchdowns. Higgins owns five major receiving records at CSU.

Second Team: David Anderson (2002-05), Pete Rebstock (1998-2001), Greg Primus (1989-92)
 

Tight End:
Joel Dreessen (2001-04)
Joel Dreessen earned All-Mountain West honors three years in a row (2002-04), and was an Second Team All-American as a senior in 2004. Dreessen then went on to have a 10-year NFL career and made an appearance in Super Bowl XLVII with the Denver Broncos.
 
Second Team: Keli McGregor (1981-84)
 

Offensive Line:
Anthony Cesario (1995-98)
Anthony Cesario was a first-team All-American in 1998 and was a second-team honoree in 1997. He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins in the NFL from 1999-2003.
 
Mike Newell (1995-98)
Before Mike Newell spent four years in the NFL, he was an all-conference lineman at CSU that played from 1995-98 in the green and gold.

Erik Pears (2001-04)
Erik Pears received all-conference recognition in 2003 and 2004 and had an 11-year NFL career across four different teams.
 
Weston Richburg (2010-13)
Weston Richburg began his CSU career as a freshman All-American in 2010, and then went on to earn a pair of all-conference honors. Richburg was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
 
Ty Sambrailo (2010-13)
Ty Sambrailo earned a pair of All-Mountain West honors in his career, including first-team recognition in 2014. He was drafted in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
 
Second Team: Jake Bennett (2014-17), Mike Brisiel (2002-05), Kevin Call (1980-83), Zack Golditch (2015-17), Morgan Pears (1999-2002)
 


Defensive Line:
Mike Bell (1975-78)
Mike Bell was twice named an All-American, and was CSU's first consensus All-American (1978). He had a 12-year NFL career after being drafted No. 2 overall in 1979.
 
Clark Haggans (1996-99)
Clark Haggans is CSU's career sack leader with 33 during his collegiate career. Haggans went on to play 12 seasons in the NFL, making three Super Bowl appearances.
 
Joey Porter (1995-98)
Joey Porter was a first-team All-WAC selection in 1998, and went on to become one of those most feared pass rushers in recent NFL history. Porter became a four-time All-Pro during his 13-year career.
 
Brady Smith (1993-95)
Brady Smith set CSU's single-season sack record in 1995 with 16. He was a second-team All-American and the WAC Defensive Player of the Year that season.
 
Second Team: Al Baker (1974-77), Guy Miller (2007-10), Sean Moran (1992-95), Adrian Ross (1994-97)
 

Linebackers:
Shaquil Barrett (2011-13)
Shaquil Barrett was the 2013 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year and was the MVP of the 2013 New Mexico Bowl, where his late forced fumble and recovery led to a game-tying touchdown for the Rams.
 
Rick Crowell (1996-2000)
Rick Crowell was the 2000 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year and twice earned first-team all-conference honors.
 
Kevin McLain (1974-75)
Kevin McLain was an All-American in 1975 and was then drafted in the first round of the 1976 NFL Draft. He owns CSU's single-season tackle record, posting 198 in 1974.
 
Second Team: Cory James (2012-15), Nate Kvamme (1995-98), Eric Pauly (2000-03)
 

Defensive Backs:
Ray Jackson (1992-95)
Ray Jackson is CSU's career leader in interceptions (20). Jackson earned first-team All-WAC honors in 1995 and was also a member of the AFCA Good Works Team.
 
Greg Myers (1992-95)
Greg Myers is one of the most decorated players in program history. He won the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation's top defensive back, in 1995. He was also a consensus All-American that year. Myers was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
 
Earlie Thomas (1967-69)
Earlie Thomas participated in the 1969 All-America Bowl and went on to have a six-year career in the NFL.
 
Dexter Wynn (2000-03)
Dexter Wynn earned a pair of all-conference honors as a cornerback at CSU and went on to have a five-year NFL career after getting drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
 
Second Team: Ron Cortell (1985-88), John Howell (1996-97, 1999-2000), Keith King (1975-76), Erik Olson (1996-99)
 

Kicker:
Jeff Babcock (2002-04)
Jeff Babcock is CSU's career and single-season field goals record holder and is tied for second in career scoring.
 
Second Team: Steve DeLine (1984-86)
 


Punter:
Jimmie Kaylor (2005-07)
Jimmie Kaylor was an Second Team All-American in 2005 and earned all-conference honors twice.
 
Second Team: Hayden Hunt (2013-16)
 

Returner:
Dexter Wynn (2000-03)
Dexter Wynn earned All-America honors as a returner in 2003. He was also an All-Mountain West return man three times, including a pair of first-team selections.
 
Second Team: Dallas Davis (1997-2001)
