QUOTES
Head Coach Jen Fisher on the conference-opening victory…
"I thought we battled really hard and I like the way we responded. Similar to last week against Syracuse, we had, what could have been, some frustrating innings and we battled through them. I liked the way we fought through the middle innings and we took advantage of some miscues, while also executing our short game really well."
Fisher on what an opening series win gives the team…
"One thing that is really hard is not to think of any games again. Yeah, we should feel that energy and know that we can battle, but besides that, you just have to get back to business and not over think it one way or the other."
UP NEXT
The Rams will continue the Fresno State series on Saturday, starting at 1 p.m., MT.
