FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State women's soccer team hosts New Mexico Friday at 4 p.m. MT at the CSU Soccer Field to initiate the Mountain West Conference season for both squads. The Rams (5-2-1) then will head to San Diego State for a Sunday 1 p.m. MT match to conclude the weekend's action.

Colorado State Quick Hits:

- The Rams are off to their best start to a season with five wins, only one win behind their best overall record (6-9-4 in 2018)
- For the second straight week, Colorado State had a representative recognized as a Mountain West Conference Soccer Player of the Week. Sophomore forward Kristen Noonan was named Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals at Valparaiso and one at Marquette last weekend. The week prior was sophomore goalkeeper Gabi McDonald, taking the defensive award.
- Senior defender Halley Havlicek set a school record last weekend in career minutes played. She has accumulated 5,541 career minutes on the pitch for the Rams, passing Janelle Stone (2014-17: 5,517).
- What's record is next? Senior forward Caeley Lordemann sits one point off the single season record of 12 by Hannah Gerdin in 2015. Also single season goals, needing one to have that record at six, passing Gerdin's 2015 mark.

New Mexico Quick Hits:

- The Lobos (4-3) had a tough non-conference schedule as they played five road games, including three power five teams and one against a ranked opponent
- New Mexico was picked to finish third in the Mountain West
- In the past three games, the Lobos have scored six goals by six different players and each game resulted in a win

San Diego State Quick Hits:

- Similar to the Lobos, the Aztecs (1-5-1) too have had a challenging non-conference slate to start the season with three power five games, including one against a ranked opponent
- San Diego State begins conference play at Wyoming on Friday at 3 p.m. MT, before returning home to prepare for the Rams
- Individually, freshman midfielder Kiera Utush leads SDSU with two goals and an assist for five points. Senior Brooke Lisowski handles the net duties with 26 saves and 13 goals allowed this season.
