THE WEEK
• Colorado State will hit the road for the first time this season, heading to Nevada for a pair of matches.
• The Rams will play the Wolf Pack on back-to-back nights for the second-consecutive week.
• The first match will be Friday, followed by the second on Saturday. Both matches will serve at 7 p.m., MT on the Mountain West Network.
• Due to COVID-19, the Rams will often play the same opponent back-to-back at the same site.

• Nevada was picked seventh in the Mountain West Preseason Coaches' Poll.
• The Wolf Pack started their season last week, dropping two matches to New Mexico in the Virginia Street Gym.

• Colorado State swept Nevada in both meetings in 2019 to extend its winning streak against the Wolf Pack to 14-consecutive victories.
• The Rams have swept the Wolf Pack in all but three of their 17 meetings.
• Breana Runnels combined for 26 kills in 2019 to lead the offense, while CSU also out blocked Nevada 24-9 in 2019.

RAMS AT A GLANCE
• Colorado State split its season opener last week against Air Force, losing a Mountain West match for the first time since 2018.
• The Rams won the first match of the season opener, but dropped a set to the Falcons for the first time in the series.
• CSU struggled in serve receive in the second match, getting swept by AF for the first time and snapping its 53-game winning streak against the Academy.
• The loss put the Rams on the wrong side of a sweep for the first time since 2016 and first time in conference play since 2010.
• Senior Breana Runnels was named the Preseason Player of the Year for the first time and named to the Preseason Team for the third time in her career.
• CSU claimed three of the eight preseason team positions, including Runnels, Ciera Zimmerman and Alexa Roumeliotis.
• The Rams secured its 25th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid in 2019 after winning its 21st Mountain West title (16th regular season) after a perfect 18-0 record in league play - the third time in program history with a perfect conference record.
• The Rams finished last season leading the nation in opponent hitting percentage, holding foes to a .111 mark. They also finished No. 4 in the country in average blocks with 2.94.
